I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to the 12thSaudi Association of Neurological Surgery (SANS) Conference from 15th to 16th of April 2018 in the Intercontinental hotel of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It is a great honor to host the most influential gathering of Saudi and international neurosurgeons and neuroscientists in this momentous melting city of different cultural background.
The fantastic echo and positive response to our conference with more than 1000 guests from national and international institutions attended last year Annual Meeting fills me with pride and shows that SANS conference is one of the largest neurosurgery meetings in the Gulf and Middle East regions.
The theme for the 12th SANS will be “Towards Empowering Neurosurgery.” The meeting will be focusing on the technical advancement of Neurosurgery in the field of Inventions and Innovation which will lead to more surgical confidence. This is part of our aim for continuous improvement and to maintain the high level of expertise, scientific knowledge, and training programs. We hope that through this we can motivate everybody to think of innovation and we will provide information on how to transfer these ideas into inventions.
The scientific program of the 12th SANS conference offers distinguished pre-congress courses, highly educational and fascinating presentations. I firmly believe these sessions, symposia, and presentations will guide us, expanding our intellects, and introducing young neurosurgeon to paths for a brighter future.
I owe gratitude to all my dear colleagues in the organizing and scientific committees, who contributed immensely to the accomplishment of our conference. They worked generously for the success of the 12th SANS, and for that, I am very grateful.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I wish you all an unforgettable time in Jeddah.May this 12th SANS conference lead to stronger friendships, inspirations, and new international connections in the mission of our neurosurgical profession.
